Proud to be Not For Profit!

25th May 2022

We’re delighted to be supporting the launch of the new logo from the National Care Forum, which has been developed exclusively for NCF members to help people more easily identify those social care services operated by not for profit providers.

Rachel Hill, Chief Executive said, “We’re one of the oldest charities in Surrey and have been supporting older people in need for over a century, so we have a proud history as a NFP organisation.

“This is important to us because it means our residents and their families can be assured that we’re not responsible to shareholders but to them, as any profit we make gets reinvested back into our services and supports the vital work of our charity.

“Social care is a very competitive environment, especially right now with such a shortage of care staff nationally, so it can be harder for smaller providers like ours to compete with the large national operators.

“But a recent survey by the NCF of 1,500 adults found 75% of people preferred not for profit organisations, or local authority provision. So, we’re very excited about the launch of this new logo for @NCFCareForum members which we’ve put on our website and will be putting on all our documents and publicity to help us tell everyone we’re proud to be not for profit!”
