In our beautiful village setting, The Whiteley Homes Trust charity has over 100 years’ experience of accommodating, supporting and caring for older people of limited means.
The Whiteley Homes Trust is a registered charity offering a caring community for those in need in later life. Founded over a 100 years ago, it has a committed team of employees providing housing and benefit support, community support and property management enabling residents to live a fulfilling life. The Village accommodates nearly 350 older people across various areas.
At the heart of Whiteley Village, set out in an octagon around the monument to our founder, are our 260 one and two-bedroom almshouse cottages suitable for single people and couples. The cottages are intended for those who can live independently. However, as residents’ needs change, our Support Team can offer support and advice on next steps. This will enable them to remain in their home for as long as they are able to and wish to.
Huntley House was the first purpose-built Extra Care sheltered housing scheme in Surrey. Offering 51 self-contained flats, it is the appropriate choice for those who wish to live independently but require additional support to do so.
Villagers are encouraged and enabled to live happy and fulfilling lives, as independently as possible, supported by our dedicated and highly skilled Housing & Support Team. The Village has many opportunities and extra facilities including a village shop, library, swimming pool, St Mark’s Church, an activity centre, allotments and a host of Clubs to join covering everything from bowls and crafts to archery and nature.
